This sweet gelding was such a pleasure to photograph for his black background portraits. He stood wonderfully and was quite intrigued by the clicking of my camera shutter, so he had his ears up the whole time! His owner Allison loves when he "helps" her put his halter on, and her favorite memory was the first time that he ever nickered to her in the barn.
This image was from the very end of the shoot. I always like to play around with some fun, unique angles, so I had Allison place a treat on the ground in front of Siege. Everything lined up and he paused to look at me just long enough to get the shot, and it has become one of our favorites from the session. I'm so excited for Allison to get this hung on her wall!
